The publication deals with the series of photos taken in Ludwigshafen on October 22, 1940 as a picture source on the Nazis’ persecution of Jews. As far as known, the names of the persons depicted in the series are published. Additionally, the book provides new findings on the deportation procedure and on the transmission and later use made of the photos.
