In the excerpts from the interview, Marielies Herrmann describes the deportation process from her perspective as a nurse who was involved in it. The sequences are part of an interview that Karola Fings and Martin Stankowski conducted with her in 1989. We refrain from reproducing the description of the degrading "disinfection."
