Schnellbrief des "Reichsführers SS" vom 27. April 1940 (Express Letter of the ‘Reich Leader SS’ dated April 27, 1940): "Subject: Resettlement of Gypsies"

These instructions established the guidelines for the implementation of the May deportations of Sinti and Roma. From the authorities' point of view, these early deportations served as a test run for further deportations.
